Publisher review:
ComponentArt Multipage allows multiple sub-pages of ASP.NET content to be grouped and selected with a TabStrip or other interface. ComponentArt MultiPage for ASP.NET allows multiple sub-pages of ASP.NET content to be grouped and selected with a TabStrip or other interface.ComponentArt MultiPage supports nesting custom ASP.NET content within the series of PageView panels. These panels can be swapped on the client-side or on the server-side (with an ASP.NET postback). Controls nested within MultiPage are declared and accessed directly on the page level - there is no need to use the FindControl() method to reference the nested controls. Architected specifically for ASP.NET, and written in C# - ComponentArt MultiPage takes full advantage of ASP.NET-specific features: - Postbacks and server-side events. MultiPage has built-in capability of raising server-side events when the selected page is changed.- Viewstate maintenance. Programmatic changes to the MultiPage structure are automatically persisted across multiple postbacks. ComponentArt MultiPage viewstate can be disabled using the standard ASP.NET property EnableViewState="false". ComponentArt MultiPage is able to render the selected page only through the combination of AutoPostBack and RenderSelectedPageOnly properties. This can result in saved bandwidth and improved performance for content-heavy PageViews.
